What are the bike rental rates at Cycling United Ljubljana?

The basic rental price for our road and gravel bikes in Slovenia starts at 45€ per day. However, our pricing structure offers discounts for longer rental periods. Here is our pricing breakdown:

  • Rental up to 4 days: 45€ per day.
  • Rental from 5 to 10 days: 40€ per day.
  • Rental for 11 days to 15: 35€ per day.
  • Rental for 16 days to 20: 30€ per day.
  • Rental for 21 days and beyond: contact us to get a custom offer.

The longer the rental period, the lower the price per day, providing an incentive for extended bike rentals. This pricing strategy aims to offer our customers more cost-effective options for longer exploration and enjoyment of their cycling adventures in Slovenia.

How much does a self-guided tour cost?

The prices vary based on factors such as the number of participants, days of riding, logistic support, transfers, distances, and other preferences. To provide you with a preliminary cost estimate and a better understanding, we recommend filling out our self-guided tour booking form at the beginning of the booking process. This form will offer more detailed information about your tour.

What if there are no bikes available for rental?

If there are no bikes available for rental, we encourage you to get in touch with us directly via our contact form. We strive to be as flexible as possible to accommodate your needs and procure the bikes and equipment required for your cycling adventure. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re committed to making every effort to meet your requirements.

How does the bike rental procedure work?

  1. Choose your desired bike and equipment: Visit our online booking system and browse our extensive selection of road and gravel bikes. Select the bike that suits your needs and riding style, keeping in mind the rental period.
  2. Customise your selection: Specify your preferred bike model, size, and any additional equipment you may require. If you’re interested in delivery to your location in Slovenia, contact us before completing the booking to discuss the options available.
  3. Complete the booking and payment: Once you’ve finalised your selection, fill in the booking form with details for each bike in the cart and make the payment through our secure online payment gateway.
  4. Receive confirmation and deposit invoice: Our team will review your booking details and confirm your reservation. You will receive an initial invoice for bike rental and a separate invoice for the deposit (€200 per bike).
  5. Electronically sign the contract: In the confirmation email, you can electronically sign the rental waiver by following the provided link. If you choose not to do so online, you’ll be required to electronically sign the rental waiver on the day of bike pick-up/delivery before receiving your bike. This ensures a smooth and secure rental process.

Do you rent mountain bikes?

No, we specialise in road and gravel bike rentals. We are looking into the possibility of expanding our offer in the future.

Do you rent electric bikes?

No, our primary focus are non-electric road and gravel bikes.

Do you rent cycling clothes or shoes?

At this time, we do not offer cycling clothing or shoes for rental. Our rental services primarily focus on providing bikes, equipment, and logistical support for your cycling experience. We specialise in bike rentals and equipment such as pedals, helmets, bottles, bags, bike racks, lights, and comprehensive assistance for self-guided bike tours.

Which equipment is included with the bike rental?

Each bike from our rental includes essential equipment for your ride. Our bikes come equipped with 2 bottle cages and a basic repair kit, which includes a pump, spare tube, levers, and a multitool for your convenience and safety during your journey.

A self-guided bike tour is a tour where participants explore independently without being accompanied by a guide.Our tours take convenience to the next level: we manage route suggestions, logistics, luggage transfers, and provide accommodation recommendations (hotel bookings are not included), allowing you to fully immerse yourself in an outstanding cycling adventure and have a worry free vacation.

Do you offer guided tours?

At the moment we don’t offer guided tours. However, as the demand for guided tours is steadily growing, we’re considering this option for the future. We’re constantly looking to enhance our services based on our customers’ needs.
